Today, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) voted 6-0 to reinstate the license of boxer Kubrat Pulev, with the stipulation that his license will be permanently revoked if he commits an act similar to his actions committed against sports reporter Jenny Ravalo.
CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster stated, “With today’s ruling, CSAC has continued to demonstrate that it will not stand for the denigration of women in the sports community. The Commission is pleased that Mr. Pulev completed the Commission-approved sexual harassment prevention class and the program offered by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. We believe Mr. Pulev understands the gravity of his violation against Ms. Ravalo and we expect Mr. Pulev will abide by the terms of his license reinstatement.”
