Pop Gregory (Grigor Boyadjiev Tsvetanov) was born on 7 April 1946 in Sofia and was baptized in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Trastenik, Lovech. After 4 years and managed to retrieve his wife Veska, which was expelled from Bulgaria by order of the then Ministry of Interior.
